I have always been somewhat fascinated with the Native Americans. It never mattered what tribe I was reading about, I always seemed to find something about them that amazed me.

However, I have yet to hear the pronounciation of this word: Hopi . . .

It annoys me that so many people say it different ways so I have no clue what the correct pronounciation is.

My question;
How do you pronounce Hopi?

I have researched some websites and dictionaries at the library, and the one that I come up with the most is "Non rinunciare, mai non rinunciare", I have also seen it where mai is that the end too. I have also been told that their are different ways to say it depending on the region in Italy, is this true? I could really use some help, I really want to know the correct translation, thanks!
